Decapitation crash in Brooklyn kills two in Nissan vs BMW accident

A deadly car accident happened in Brooklyn yesterday, leaving two people dead, one of whom was decapitated.
It all happened around 6:40pm right in front of Kings Plaza at the corner of Flatbush Ave and Ave U. A late model Nissan Maxima was speeding south on Flatbush, hitting speeds in excess of 100mph. Further down the road, traffic was starting to turn left onto Avenue U, when the worst happened.
The speeding Nissan got in the way of the turning BMW and they collided. Its speed caused the Nissan to careen into a telephone pole. Amazingly, the occupants of the BMW had only minor injuries.
Firemen worked to free the occupants of the Nissan, but both of them died at the scene, with the passenger being killed instantly by decapitation.
