Gorilla suit fail: Zoo worker tranquilized by short-sighted vet during escape drill

A worker at a Spanish zoo taking part was taken to hospital suffering a severe allergic reaction from a tranquilizer dart after he was mistaken for an escaped gorilla.
The worker was dressed in a gorilla costume as part of an escaped animal drill at the Loro Parque Zoo in Tenerife when a vet, who was reportedly unaware of the exercise, spotted him running riot.
The vet then sped off to get a tranquilizer gun, all the time still unable to tell the difference between a real gorilla and a man in a suit - some vet.
He then shot the man/gorilla in the leg with a dart containing a enough sedative to take out a 400lb primate rather than a 200lb man.
The unfortunate worker was then rushed to hospital after suffering an allergic reaction. He is said to be in a serious condition.
