Ever since releasing her debut album, The Fame, in 2008, Lady Gaga has enjoyed her status as the most controversial female synth-dance-pop artist on the scene. At least until Miley Cyrus stole the crown last year.
With her butt twerking, weed smoking, nipple freeing antics, Miley left Lady Gaga looking like an over-the-hill Madonna wannabe at 27. To get back on top Lady Gaga knew the love gloves had to come off.
With kiddy-pee-porn producer R Kelly by her side, Lady Gaga tapped Miley's own Wrecking Ball director, Terry Richardson, to help her raise the bar for controversial music videos.
Apparently it worked, but somewhere between Terry Richardson fending off his umpteenth harassment suit by a model, and R Kelly rearranging her vulva, Gaga had second thoughts and the video was scrapped.
