Under Siege: Steven Seagal gets flak for playing at Pro-Putin concert in Crimea

Steven Seagal has been under siege in recent years.
In fact, Seagal’s career was deemed half past dead in 2011 after he allegedly killed a dog while driving a tank into a dude’s house as part of his reality TV show Steven Seagal: Lawman.
But we all know this multiple Golden Raspberry Award winner is hard to kill, and last weekend he popped up in Crimea, where he performed at a Pro-Russian separatist concert.
Seagal, who is also a reincarnated Tibetan monk, played on a stage with a huge Donetsk People’s Republic flag, the flag of the same folks who allegedly shot down Malaysian Airlines Flight 17 last month.
Seagal then donned a T-shirt bearing an image of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s face and told reporters Putin’s annexation of Crimea was completely reasonable.
The bromance between Seagal and Putin is now several years old, with Seagal saying he thinks of Putin as a “brother.”
Seagal says he might even make an executive decision and seek Russian citizenship someday.
