Revenge fail: Husband plots murder of wife’s lover for 20 years, then shoots wrong guy

A Taiwanese man named Wang, has carried out a murder that he plotted for over 20 years. Just one catch, he killed the wrong guy. 20 years ago, Wang went to prison. While he was locked up, his wife had an affair with a guy named Chen. When Wang got out, found Chen, beat him up and divorced his wife.
Later, Wang was sent to prison again for burglary. When Wang got out this time, he blamed Chen for wrecking his family. So, in April of this year, he took a gun to Yilan City, intent on killing Chen.
However, he didn’t know that the local addresses had all been rearranged while he was in jail. Chen’s house number was moved to another block. Wang lay in wait for two days. One night, he saw the person he thought was Chen return home. Wang immediately fired two shots, killing the man.
Wang only knew he killed the wrong person after he was arrested by police. He was taken to court yesterday.
