Hole in the wall: Dumb criminals smash into food mart, get their vehicle stuck and flee

A group of five men managed to put a giant hole in the wall of a local food store during a failed attempt to steal money early Wednesday morning in Houston.
The incident happened on the 9800 block of Hillcroft Avenue, at the Sunny Mart Food Store. An employee says a group of suspicious looking men came into the store hours before the attempted burglary.
Around two a.m. five men in two vehicles tried four times to reverse a Ford F-250 through the side of the food mart before finally breaking through.
They eventually realized that the ATM machine and safe were still intact, but their truck’s back two tires were not.
The men had no choice but to leave their truck behind. Police have identified the plates of the vehicle and are now looking for the suspects.
