Father kills son: man beats eldest child to death after teen attacks his own grandfather

In the northern Chinese province of Shanxi a man murdered his son after the teen attacked his own grandfather.

Xiao Zhu was a rebellious 14-year-old, the apparent result of his father’s seemingly bitter first marriage. After his parents divorced Xiao Zhu’s father was granted custody and his mother moved on with her life. Pops went on to remarry and had two more sons with his second wife.

This left Xiao Zhu to be primarily raised by his grandparents and the lad grew up to be a rebellious, troublesome teen who got into fights time and time again.

His grandparents were forced to pay a penalty of around USD30-50 each time one of the brawls got serious or someone else ended up seriously injured.

Things came to a head last week, though, when Xiao Zhu returned home after a fight and informed his granddad that his latest victim was demanding USD320 for injuries suffered.

Xiao Zhu’s grandfather was furious and said he wasn’t buying off anyone anymore and that if the case went to court then Xiao Zhu would just have to serve his time in jail.

Equally if not more enraged, Xiao Zhu seized a hammer and allegedly struck his grandfather several times in the face and head.

When the teen’s dad arrived at the scene and his own father covered in blood, he angrily grabbed a rolling pin and beat Xiao Zhu to death.

The father has since been arrested and charged with filicide, but he says he only beat his son to death to protect his own father.

Things didn’t end there. The violence put Xiao Zhu’s grandmother in such a state of shock, she suffered a heart attack and had to be hospitalized.

If bad luck comes in threes, what’s in store for this family next?
