Rafique Rajwana sworn in as governor Punjab

LAHORE: Former PMLN senator Rafique Rajwana on Sunday took oath as the governor of Punjab here at the Governor House, Lahore, ARY News reported.
According to details, Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC) Manzoor Ahmed Malik administered oath to the new governor during the ceremony held today.
In his word with media after the ceremony, Rafique Rajwana said that his appointment as the governor Punjab has charged him with a heavy responsibility.
He vowed to fulfill his duties honestly and to serve the people remaining within the constitutional bounds.
He said that his governorship will help ending the sense of deprivation among the people of South Punjab.
Governor Rajwana also thanked his party leadership for trusting him for such a key post.
