Makkhi is about a villain Sudeep who kills the hero Jani (Nani). Bindu (Samantha) plays love interest of Jani in the movie. The movie starts with the voice of Ajay Devgn and Kajol as they were narrating a story of a house fly to their son.In the movie the hero is later reborn as Makkhi (Housefly). The Makkhi happens to remember what happened in its last birth as Jani, the lover of Bindu and how Sudeep killed him. He also remembers that how much he used to love Bindu. The rest of the story is about Makkhi's ceaseless effort to create problems for villain and wreak vengeance on him.Story of a man who is reborn as a housefly so he can avenge his own death.
The concept.. the treatment.. the performances and the direction is too good. you just stick with your seats when movie starts.
Kannada actor Sudeep plays his part of the cold-hearted villain with true comic book flair and even a cartoonish tinge. It is because he is a powerful antagonist that you relish the face-off between the fly and him. Even if the film gets a tad repetitive towards the climax, it ends up an unique cinematic experience.Makkhi is a South Indian flick, which has somehow become the buzzing movie of the B-town, especially because of an unusual plot and story. But when we saw the movie, it's nothing but... awesome action, animation and effects (like any other movie made down south). Yet for the heroic Makkhi... Here you go... 3 Makkhis, we mean to say Stars.
