David Lammy re-elected as Labour MP for Tottenham. The politician won the seat with 28,654 votes – an increase of 4,526 from 2010. Mr Lammy told the crowd in Alexandra Palace: “To all those who helped me I am very grateful. This is a staggering result for us here and I think it’s the beginning of a wonderful night in the London borough of Haringey. “Tottenham has given me the biggest majority for the MP for Tottenham for at least 25 years.
