Salman Khan is convicted in the 2002 hit-and-run case under section 304 of the Indian Penal Code, culpable homicide not amounting to murder is known to all.

Judge Mr. Deshpande pronounced the sentence, and the Dabangg Khan was held guilty of eight charges including drunk driving, driving without valid license and rash and negligent driving.
