After 38 months of waiting, 29 year old Justin Lee, also known as Li Zong Rui, has finally been convicted and sentenced to 30 years in jail.

Lee is charged with drugging and sexually assaulting over 20 female victims. He was charged with two counts of rape in 2011 after two sisters accused him. When police raided his home, all the evidence was there, because Lee had filmed the rapes for his personal video collection. After viewing his sick collection police were able to bring an additional seven counts of rape against Lee.

A judge has also ordered Lee to pay USD $900,000 (NTD 27.75 million) in restitution to his victims.

Lee’s lawyer says that he and his client intend to appeal the court’s ruling as they believe that the sentence is too heavy for being a mere serial rapist.
