Police brutality: Video shows cop slapping homeless, unarmed man at Fort Lauderdale bus terminal

A Fort Lauderdale, Florida police officer is under investigation after a video emerged on YouTube showing him pushing and slapping a homeless man at the Broward Central bus terminal.
The video shows officer Victor Ramirez pushing the homeless man, Bruce Laclair, to the ground before slapping him across the face. Laclair, who was wearing a hospital band at the time, was arrested for trespassing.
The witness who filmed the incident told the Sun Sentinel that Laclair was sleeping on a bench before the incident.
Ramirez reportedly told Laclair to leave the area, but the homeless man protested, telling the officer he needed to use the bathroom before walking away. Ramirez returned to his police cruiser, put on blue gloves and moved in to arrest Laclair.
Video shows Ramirez push Laclair to the ground and deliver a sharp slap to his face, followed by a profanity-laden warning to the older man.
Ramirez then arrested Laclair and was booked for trespassing.
Laclair released from jail Monday afternoon.
Ramirez has since been relieved of duties, with pay. The Office of Internal Affairs is conducting an investigation into the incident.
