Yemen: Saleh supporters protest against Saudi-led air strikes

Protesters have taken to the streets of the Yemeni capital to condemn air strikes led by Saudi Arabia.
The Sunni Kingdom is trying to push back Houthi rebels, who are said to be backed by Iran.
They took over Sanaa six months ago and have advanced on Aden, where President Abed Rabbu Mansour Hadi had taken refuge.
Hadi is now in Saudi Arabia, watching developments from afar.
The protesters who gathered on Friday were supporters of Yemen’s former President Al Abdullah Saleh.
“We’ve taken to the streets today to condemn and reject this blatant aggression. It’s not justified,” said one demonstrator.
Meanwhile, suspected al Qaeda fighters have stormed a military base in the Yemeni port town of Mukalla, killing at least five soldiers and ransacking the ammunition store.
Hadi loyalists in Aden have also been stocking up on supplies.Warplanes from the Saudi-led coalition have dropped weapons and medical items over the district of Tawahi.
