One Ohio hunter got stuck waist deep in thick muck and surrounded by freezing water with no chance of escape. The man called authorities from his cell phone and they came up with a novel plan to save the man’s life. The park officers tied a rope to the man’s faithful hound and the pup ran the rope out the trapped hunter. The water was too shallow for boats and would swallow any other human who tried to cross, so the dog was called in for the job.
