Vulgar Letters Case: Sharman Zala dismissed - Tv9 Gujarati

Ahmedabad: In an Executive Council meeting called by the Gujarat University, the report submitted by retired judge PJ Dholakia on lewd letters sent to three women professors by professor of Political Science department Sharman Zala was discussed following which Zala was dismissed. Professor Mukesh Khatik, who had allegedly threatened three women lecturers and some other staff members for registering a complaint against Zala, was rebuked while authorities will seek the opinion of GU advocate Shelat and take a decision in harassment complaint against PP Prajapati and Nisha Shah, the former head of the Chemistry department allegedly involved in conducting illegal PhD admissions drew serious criticism.
