It's almost one year since Portugal exited its bailout, but the government is still implementing austerity measures. Taxes continue to rise, and some critics say this has led to the development of a parallel economy, worth a quarter of the country’s GDP. The government is cracking down on tax evasion, but many ordinary Portuguese feel that while they're being squeezed, their politicians don't seem to be practising what they preach.
