Raman (Dileep) is an employee in a rice mill in Pune. He has a bicycle on which he carries the rice to be processed to the mill.

Raman decides to buy an auto rickshaw and reaches his village to borrow money from his mother for the same. But once he reaches his village he is shocked to find a gang of people waiting there to kill him.

Raman who is noble and gentle is forced to become rough and tough since then. This story is told in 'Ivan Maryada Raman' by debutante director Suresh Divakar.

The story and script are penned by Udaykrishna and Siby K Thomas. Nikki Galrani is the heroine. 'Ivan Maryada Raman' is produced by Anto Joseph under the banner of Anto Joseph Film Company.
