Shivakasi , runs a welding shop in Hyderabad. His boldness and sense of justice is enough to attract Devi , a rich girl, to fall in love with him. Shivakasi also starts loving Devi and decides to marry her. Devi's father and his family elders however object to the marriage. The reason: nobody knows who the parents of shivakasi are. But the truth is different. Shivakasi does have parents. He hails from a very rich and reputed family with suman as the father and jayasudha as the mother. Circumstances forced shivakasi to leave his village when he was still a child. His father evicted him from the village and threatened to kill himself if he ever returned.devi's father agrees to bless the marriage provided that shivakasi has to bring his parents for the marriage negotiation ceremony. For his love shivakasi vows to get his parents to talk about his marriage. So he starts on a journey to bring his parents to Hyderabad. But there is big block standing on the way. Who is the obstacle? How shivakasi overcomes that is what forms the core story of vijay dasami.
