To golf at the HSBC Women's Champions. World number two Park Inbee was on point in Singapore, finishing tied for first after round 1.
Park started off with a single birdie in the first nine holes, and added five more on the back-nine thanks to her solid putting.
She finished at 6-under par to share the lead with Yani Tseng.
Park is in position to make a run for her first title of the season after coming in 5th and 13th in her last two starts.
