We've heard of entities causing all sorts of electromagnetic disturbances, but not quite like this incident in New Delhi, India. According to the council at the Karakadooma Court Complex, they installed eight CCTV cameras at different spots in the building after multiple complaints of strange sightings.
The Incident
“In the morning, four computers were found to be switched on. When we looked at the CCTV footage, around 11.35 p.m. a white shadowy figure appears from one of the walls and turns on all the computers simultaneously,” says one of the secretaries who works in the area.
IANS has the CCTV footage that clearly shows the light and the computers suddenly switching on. On a different occasion, the camera recorded bubbles floating in the air around the library late at night. Masesh Sharma, a former president of the council, also reportedly sighted a ghost-like figure in his own chamber.
History
A staff member claims a lawyer who used to work in the area was killed along with his entire family during the Uttarakhand floods last year. In addition, an electrician was also electrocuted and killed a few weeks ago, adding to the potential haunting. With many claims of spirits wondering the areas near the courtyard and library, the staff workers are convinced the entities are mostly harmless and never cause any serious problems.
One investigator has given some clues to the CCTV recordings and says the computers which turned on might have been programmed to synchronize their start-up. Electromagnetic fields may have triggered some of this phenomenon, including the bubbles captured on footage.
