The dentist will first examine the condition of the teeth as well the gums and will give you treatments. The procedure is not completely pain free. As the gums are contoured, there might be slight bleeding. In some cases, laser method is used which will reduce the bleeding of the gums and lessen the pain as the laser seals the blood vessels within the gums. You will be infused with anesthesia before the procedure starts.
