The story of a young girl Saira, whose dreams for wealth and a rich lifestyle take her to the heights of greediness. Not belonging to a rich household herself, she is engaged to Saqib who is quite well off but unfortunately loses hold over all his wealth after his father's demise. Afraid of seeing her dreams being shattered, Saira forces her fiance to marry her closest friend Shafaq who is dying of brain tumor, only because Saqib is promised by Shafaq's mother to be given all her property after her death if he agrees to marry her. The story takes a major turn when after agreeing to Saira's terms, Saqib begins to spend time with Shafaq and gradually falls in love with her, while Shafaq herself is unaware of her ailment.
