Barcelona, Spain, Jan 16 (EFE) .- FC Barcelona midfielder Xavi Hernández, who had missed the team's most recent games due to a hamstring injury, resumed training with the rest of the squad on Friday, awaiting medical approval to play Sunday against Deportivo de La Coruña.
Xavi was unable to play against Atlético Madrid in matchday 18 in La Liga, as well as both legs of the Copa del Rey tie against Elche.
Brazilian forward Neymar, who had received an injury to his ankle during Barca's game against Atletico Madrid in La Liga, also joined the team's collective training, having apparently recovered.
After beating Elche 4-0, the Blaugranas trained Friday to prepare for next game in La Liga against Deportivo La Coruña, which will be played Sunday at Riazor Stadium.
