Diaz, Madden wed; "The Last Ship" to close

Cameron Diaz got married on Monday (January 05) - according to a statement released by People magazine, who reports that she wed at an intimate ceremony at her Los Angeles home. The actress married musician Benji Madden, who has been dating since May of last year.
The Broadway musical "The Last Ship" will close later this month. Written by Sting and based on his childhood growing up in a shipbuilding town in England, the show will play its final performance on Broadway on Saturday, January 24th. The show opened in October to mixed reviews, and Sting has been appearing in it since December 9 in a effort to boost sagging tickets sales.
