Installation of 2.5kw Solar Gridtie PV

A video showing general installation on a 2.5kw (2500 watt) solar PV gridtie system. Using quick mount roof fasteners and scrap aluminum pipe for panel mounting. Kaco Blueplanet 2502xi 2.5kw gridtie inverter converts the high voltage DC from the panels to 220vac of your house, in effect running your electric meter backwards. This adds to the 5kw on my house already, 0.5kw on hottub, so 8kw total which is no electrical bills in summer, likely a credit. Shading in winter reduces output due to low sun angle and neighbour's trees to the south. Total cost under $5000 all DIY.
