Lava flow moves closer to Hawaii shopping area

Molten lava is on the move on Hawaii's Big Island.

The stream from the erupting Kilauee Volcano now threatens a grocery store and gas station as it encroaches a highway linking the village of Pahoa with the rest of the island.

The Hawaiian Volcano Observatory says the flow is within 690 yards of the shopping area.

County officials say they're working with the merchants for a possible evacuation.
