It feels like just yesterday 2014 started, and now it’s on the brink of ending. With numerous gains and losses, ups and downs, it has sure been a year to remember for all of us. Talking of the losses, we compiled a list of few Hollywood celebrities, who left a void within us. Let’s take a look…

Shirley Temple
Among the Hollywood stars Philip Seymour Hoffman and Mickey Rooney, we lost our own Mrs. Doubtfire, Shirley Temple the child star.

Philip Seymour Hoffman
In the month of January we lost Philip Seymour Hoffman who died at the age of 46. He was the Oscar best award in 2006 for portraying Truman Capote in the movie “Capote”. He died due to combined drug intoxication.

Robin Williams
Robin Williams the acclaimed actor committed suicide in 2014 creating a ripple across his fan club. None could believe it and they went into deep shock.

Michael Johns
Among the more shocking was the sudden death of “American Idol” contestant Michael Johns who passed away in August 2014. He was only 35 years.

The Big Bang Theory actress Caron Ann Susi died due to cancer. She was the famous voice behind the unseen Mrs. Wolowitz and it is sad she had to suffer towards her end.

Richard Attenborough
Oscar winning British film director, the winner of Academy Award for Best Picture and the maker of ‘Gandhi’ - Richard Attenborough died at the age of 90. Still we miss this man with talent and art up his sleeve.

Lauren Bacall
One of the leading ladies of Golden Age of Hollywood – Lauren Bacall died at the age of 80. If reports are to be believed, the actress had a massive stroke at her home, which lead to her death. So sad!

Joan Rivers
Joan Rivers was one such who could critique any woman’s wardrobe. Unfortunately she passed away this September and stopped breathing during an elective neck surgery. Even at the age of 81, she had such zest for life.
