Police in Madrid remove the car used in an attack that triggered a security alert.
They say a 37-year-old unemployed Spaniard, describing himself as a ruined businessman, rammed the car into the headquarters of the ruling People's Party.
There were two gas cylinders inside, as well as bags of industrial fertilizer.
The driver was arrested, no one was injured, but bomb disposal units were called in as a precaution, and nearby metro stations were shut down.

"On the radio they said he was a desperate man, a poor man, he's crazy."
Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy surveyed the damage at his party headquarters.
Police say the driver wanted revenge against Spain's political policy.
Opinion polls shows the nation's 25 percent jobless rate -- Europe's second-highest unemployment rate after only Greece -- is the number one concern for Spaniards.
