A medical student from South Africa has been awarded the world's most coveted beauty title.
Rolene Strauss has been crowned Miss World 2014 at a ceremony in London on Sunday (December 14).
The 22-year-old beat 120 other contestants, to wear the coveted crown.

Strauss is the third South African beauty queen to win the title.
The 64th annual Miss World pageant took place amidst the backdrop of the recent murder of Miss Honduras just days before flying to London for the competition.
19-year-old Maria Jose Alvarado was found shot dead in November, in a suspected crime of passion.
