Faith politics: UP police crack down

Uttar Pradesh police gets tough against fringe groups. Raids were conducted on Tuesday (December 16) in many places. As raids took place, UP police have made arrests. In Agra, conversion accused Nand Kishor Valmiki was also among those arrested.He had a reward of 12000 on him . Couple of arrests also made in Etah district. Meanwhile in Kushinagar district of eastern UP..some people associated to Hindu Yuva Vahini have also been arrested a short while back. Their exact detail is awaited. Hindu Yuva Vahini is the organization floated by BJP MP Yogi Adityanath..Hindu yuva vahini leaders taken in police custody are--Ajay Govind rai..district incharge Kushinagar Rajan Jaiswal(program incharge) and 3 others. They have been arrested following VHP's call of 'mass lunch' today. Intelligence reports were that in grab of lunch..conversion drive could also be carried out. Hence all these people have been taken in custody.
