Early morning events in Hollywood are usually reserved for award nominations. With the exception of the Power 100 Women in Entertainment breakfast which saw some of Tinseltown's mightiest females turn out for a morning of charity and backslapping.
The big award of the morning, the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award went to writer, producer and director Shonda Rimes.

What happened inside was that Angelina Jolie gave out a full scholarship to a young student, and organisers also paid tribute to the late comedienne Joan Rivers. Her daughter Melissa took to the stage to talk about her.
