Mudslides in Malibu
Damage control in Malibu, California, after the heaviest rainfall in more than a year hit Los Angeles and surrounding areas.
Crews are clearing what they can after mudslides forced the shutdown of six miles of the Pacific Coast Highway.
Patrick Chandler who is a spokesperson for the California Department of Transportation says it may get worse.

"With another storm coming in, we are going to expect a lot more rain, a lot more debris to cover the roadway, a lot more mud and everything so we're going to continue to keep the road closed."
Analysts say the rain will deliver little relief with California expected to remain locked in a severe drought.
