Sant Joan Despí (Spain), 29 Nov (EFE).- Barcelona midfielder Andrés Iniesta was ruled fit by club doctors Saturday and will be able to play in their next league game against Valencia at the Mestalla Sunday.
The Spaniard injured his calf at the Santiago Bernabeu five weeks ago.
The player has been training at the same pace as his teammates and doctors gave him the green flag to play after the Saturday morning session.
With Iniesta's return, manager Luis Enrique Martínez has his whole squad available except for Thomas Vermaelen, who will be operated on to solve his hamstring problems.
In keeping with his routine, Luis Enrique will announce the squad to travel to the Mestalla on the morning of the game before they travel south to Valencia.,
