They say to never work with children or animals. But in new British Christmas movie 'Get Santa' they are the stars of the show.
9-year-old newcomer Kit Connor plays Tom, who teams up with his father, played by Rafe Spall, to save Christmas, after they find Santa in the garden shed having crashed his sleigh. Things become even more complicated when Santa is arrested and finds himself in jail.
Jim Broadbent, who plays Santa Claus, was adored by the cast, like the big man himself.
SOUNDBITE Actors, Kit Connor and Rafe Spall, saying (English):
Connor: "Yeah he's funny, and he's, he's kind of like...he's, I think he's impossible not to like. He's the perfect Santa, and he's the perfect friend for anyone."
Spall: "We think that if Santa could choose he would choose Jim Broadbent to play him in a film of his life wouldn't he?"
Connor: "Yeah."
Spall: "Definitely."
Connor: "Yeah."
