It’s the time of year when the sight of people pushing cars out of snowy predicaments is increasingly common.
That’s the case in Siberia, only the problem extends to jets. Recently, a group of passengers banded together to get a plane rolling and up in the air.
The aircraft had been standing still on the tarmac for about 24 hours with its parking brakes engaged.
The combination of that along with temperatures hovering at 61 degrees Fahrenheit below zero resulted in the wheels freezing.
Initially, the 74 passengers were asked to get off of the plane as a means of lightening the load, but once outside they decided to pitch in.
Wearing heavy coats, and filled with a desire to get to their destination, the group took hold of the jet’s wings and started to push.
Once they’d gotten it to make a turn a tow truck was able to take over.
Before long, they were back in their seats and on their way.
The jet successfully made its journey, and upon their arrival the passengers were greeted with a much warmer temperature of 12 degrees Fahrenheit.
