This is video showing the moments before a Cleveland police officer fatally shoots a 12-year old boy.

It happened Saturday afternoon at this park gazebo after police responded to a 911 call about a male pointing a gun at people.

It was Tamir Rice brandishing his pellet gun, which looks like a semiautomatic pistol but shoots plastic pellets.

But police were taking no chances.

Portions of the 911 call were released to the media on Wednesday.

"He's sitting on the swing right now, he's pulling it in and out of his pants and pointing it at people. Probably a juvenile, you know?"

Two officers in a patrol car responded to the call.

Police say they told Rice to raise his hands three times but he reached for the gun instead, they say, and was shot.

He died Sunday.

More audio was also released of the police dispatch after the shooting.
