HK police move in on protest site

The beginning of the end of another section of the Hong Kong pro-democracy protesters' camp in the Mong Kok district.

Police and bailiffs moved in on Tuesday to take down barricades and remove the protesters' tents.

The demonstrators didn't try to stop them but remain defiant.

(SOUNDBITE)(Cantonese) NG BOON-DUK, PROTESTER, SAYING:

"If I were arrested and sent to prison the sacrifice I make would be much bigger than protesting on the streets. I would like to make bigger sacrifices."

The latest clearance of a site occupied by the protesters follows a court order allowing police to arrest anyone who tries to stop them

Local media reports say a larger area was expected to be cleared on Wednesday.
