ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)
STORY: U.S. Vice President Joe Biden on Friday (November 21) met Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseny Yatseniuk and members of his cabinet.
Speaking at a meeting before holding talks with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, Biden said he was impressed by Ukrainian protesters who opposed the police and special forces in central Kiev last winter despite the danger of being shot.
"It's testament to incredible determination and courage of the Ukrainian people, and the United States thinks it is very important to succeed," Biden said.
He also congratulated Yatseniuk on a coalition deal reached on Friday and promised support to the future government.
"You've taken significant moves already to deal with corruption, you've taken significant moves to attempt to stabilize the economy in a very-very difficult situation. And we want to help," Biden said.
