Hawaii lava destroys first home

Lava from Hawaii's Kilauea volcano claims its first home, after bubbling out of the vent in June.

It's been creeping towards the village of Pahoa for weeks, giving residents plenty of time to evacuate.

The volcano started erupting more than 30 years ago and hasn't stopped since.

Its lava destroyed nearly 200 homes in the 1980s.
