The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), Mr. Altaf Hussain said that the Karbala incident was a tragic war between virtue and vice forces and could never be forgotten.
In a statement issued from London Secretariat, MQM Chief said that grandson of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), his family and companions denied submitting themselves against the vice force of the time. He said that Hazrat Imam Hussain rendered everlasting sacrifices for the protection of Islam in Karbala.
Mr. Hussain said that recognition, pleasure, patience, determination, vitality, courage and selflessness were the unfading examples of truthfulness and virtue. He said that the sacrifices of Imam Hussain and his family members taught the entire humanity to stand for the cause without considering the enemy’s might.
He said that it was prerequisite to obey their teachings to claim love for them and always support the truth and virtue. He appealed to Ullema and people to keep unity and brotherhood among them during Moharram-ul-Haram. He also advised them to keep an eye on any suspicious thing and situation and maintain individual surveillance against the terrorists and suspect elements
