At least 24 people are dead after a string of car bombs in Baghdad on Friday night.

Dozens more are injured.

One bomb exploded near a coffee shop in a Shi'ite Muslim neighbourhood, another in a Sunni area and a third in an affluent part of the Iraqi capital.

No one has claimed responsibility for the bombings, but other attacks in recent weeks have been claimed by Sunni Militant group, Islamic State.

Friday's violence comes just a day after bombs killed 36 people in areas around Baghdad.
