Madrid, 15 Oct (EFE), (Camera: Santiago Castro).- Spain captain Iker Casillas spoke about the "sweet transition" mentioned by national coach Vicente del Bosque after he saw the Luxembourg game from the bench, assuring that it will be a good thing because he is not "immortal."

"I think it is going to be a good transition, evidently I won't last forever, I am not immortal," Casillas admitted at a publicity event at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport.

"Each person has to know the moment to decide when to leave the national side, but right now I feel good and strong to help my country, to take part in the European Championship in France and fight for the title, which will not be easy because there are other strong sides," he added.

Del Bosque's decision to put Casillas on the bench to give Manchester United keeper David de Gea official games did not surprise him and he reiterated his good relationship with the coach.
