MARCIANO Fall 2014 Campaign by Fashion Channel

FW14 brings us a Marciano woman who embraces three distinct looks spanning from Modern 70’s looks to a Transition style and ending the season with decisive 80’s Punk Rock inspired ensembles. The Marciano man as ever combines smart fashion with sporty glam for superbly elegant and casual looks.
For her the Modern 70’s kicks off the season recalling the days of Studio ‘54. Looks are inspired by sultry divas like Bianca Jagger, oozing glamorous chic and femininity through the use of wide neck, back cuts, pencil skirts and an array of flair pants. Python print is key and colours range from Macadamia, Bad Baby pink, Orchid bloom, Dynamite dusk pink to strong statement tones of Sultry sea blue, Aurora red, Ekland espresso and jet black. A finishing touch is provided by metal details and embellishments in rose gold.
Transition presents a chic wardrobe, inspired by the late 70s and early 80s, with clean lines and rigorous shapes where hounds tooth and metal details make a statement. Fancy leopard prints abound and the colour palette spans from macadamia and Bianca beige to autumn tones of mistletoe, aubergine and jet black with white gold trims and details.
The season continues and the winter arrives along with a decidedly 80’s punk rock style that is filled with edgy chic. Lace, laminated leather and fish chain details contrast with rebel rose prints and tones of macadamia, bad baby pink, Raquel rose and strong pops of Rebel red and Jet black. Details and embellishments are significant again in white gold.
Sporty glam presents a vast array of checked prints, fishbone fabrics and yarn dyed garments. Shirt & ties are perfect with fashion denim with slim fit blazers in printed wool and braided sweaters in mixed gauges worn on top. Outerwear offers down jackets and a wide selection of coats in wool and nylon checked prints, shaded camouflage, fishbone wool and memory nylon. Printed shirts are a strong feature of the mood and include micro leopard, micro check prints and tone on tone jacquard while colours span from light tones of beige, camel, natural wool and powder light green to stronger shades of brown, cedar yellow, orange, vermillion and dark green.
