Very little is known about this Edison studio band, which was generally led by trumpeter Louis Katzman. Actually he recorded under many more aliases: The Biltmore Club Orchestra, The Castillians, Jazz-O-Harmonists, Louis Katzman Colonial Orchestra, and Whittall’s Anglo-Persians. This outstanding record was made in 1923.
