Shammi Kappor is poor man who is living in an abandoned Railway coach (Dibba). Though he himself is struggling for living his life, he saves a woman (Madhubala) from suicide and provides shelter to her. Meanwhile fate designs a plot and brings another man inside their Dibba. Both of these men fall in love with the inmate woman. Perhaps, the poor girl was able to give her heart only to one. Then the beast of jealousy living inside the human pokes its head out. Their paths get diverged from this Dibba but this time they were lucky enough to meet up with prosperity and soon they climb the ladder of success. Will they remember the Dibba that once sheltered their forlorn lives once again tells the remaining story.
