Shikast

Shikast is a 1953 Hindi movie produced and directed by Ramesh Saigal. The film stars Dilip Kumar, Nalini Jaywant, Durga Khote, Om Prakash and K. N. Singh. The film outlines the story of Dr Ram Singh and Sushama. Ram Singh returns to his village after many years to sell his property. When he reaches village he founds that the peasants are rudely treated by the landlord and his sister Sushama whom he loved before. Ramu starts a school and hospital to save the peasants.
