Mangal Singh (Sadiq Ali), the son of a loyal Rajput chief, Sangram Singh ( Sohrab Modi) falls in love with Kanwar (Sheela). He kills Kanwar's brother and father to own her. Sangram Singh captured his son and Jehangir (Chandra Mohan) passed the death sentence on him. Jehangir's claim that the law knows no class distinction is put to test when a washerwoman (Akhtar) accuses Queen Noorjehan (Naseem Banu) of having inadvertently killed her husband during a hunt.
