Dunya News - Police arrest four accused in Zahra Shahid's murder case

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Karachi South Zone police on Thursday arrested at least four accused in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Zahra Shahid’s murder case after an operation. The Additional Inspector General (IG) confirmed that Zahra Shahid was a victim of targeted killing, Dunya News reported.
According to the sources, the police had arrested one accused after a raid yesterday (Wednesday) whose arrest then led to the arrest of three of his accomplices.
Reportedly, the murder weapon has also been recovered from the arrested accused.
The police said that the accused are residents of Clifton Phase 1 area. Additional IG said that Zahra Shahid’s murder was indeed an act of targeted killing.
