German firearms giant Heckler and Koch has developed a new Machine Gun called HK-121, chambered in 7.62mm round. This MG has been developed in order to replace the MG3 machine guns of the German army. This MG is also likely to be offered other MG3 users as a highly adaptable, advanced and portable replacement, while using the same cartridge as the old MG3.
